Artwork of the Day – “Untitled” by Joro Petkov

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, this vibrant, autumnal painting by Artexpo New York 2010 exhibitor Joro Petkov seemed like a perfect pick for today’s Artwork of the Day.

Joro was born in the small town of Tchiprovtzi, Bulgaria, and went on to study at the prestigious Illia Petrov School of Fine Art in Sophia. In 1992, he immigrated to Toronto, Ontario, Canada, where he now produces many fine original canvases and etchings.

Joro is published by Progressive Fine Art. You can look forward to visiting his exhibit at Artexpo New York 2010.
