Artwork of the Day: “Pray for the World” by Linda Behar
Born in Venezuela and established in the United States since 2000, Linda Behar is an artist originally trained as a Civil Engineer. She specializes in Glass Casting and Pate de Verre (glass paste). Her current work shows a mixture of the subtle matter of glass and contemporary mixed media, which lends her pieces an intriguing and profound visual texture.
Linda’s work has been exhibited in the Habitat Galleries, Virginia Miller Gallery, Turching Center of Visual Arts and Arte Puy in Venezuela. In 2008, she exhibited a compilation named “Glass as a Conceptual Media” at Broward College.
