Get Framed! 2012 Design Trends with Michael Pacitti, sponsored by PALO Root Tea, March 25th
“2012 Design Trends”
Seminar by Michael Pacitti, 2-3 pm, March 25
Sponsored by PALO Root Tea
2012 Design Trends with Michael Pacitti, brought to you by PALO Root Tea, will explore the influence of design on custom framing and overall ornamentation. Michael Pacitti has been teaching seminars on color and design to interior designers and custom picture framers around the world for 25 years. In this special seminar, he’ll show you design styles for frames, art and interior motifs from the past 100 years. Michael will talk about the secrets of moulding patterns:
• When and where they originated
• How to recognize the difference between architectural and furniture moulding designs
• How to use specific motifs when working with interiors and framing
By studying these designs, you’ll be ready to identify the right moulding for your image — and deliver art that designers and institutions want.
The sponsor of Michael’s talk, PALO Root Tea, is returning to Artexpo New York 2012 after winning a lot of fans at last year’s show. Brewed from Mamajuana, a blend of healthy roots and herbs traditionally prepared for vitality by the indigenous people of in the Dominican Republic and the Greater Antilles, PALO quickly became the go-to beverage of the Artexpo 2011 staff. Sweet, cool and refreshing, PALO provided a lift when we needed it.

PALO suggests you drink it before or after your workout, yoga class or any activity where you need to build your energy reserves. We can certainly say it’s a great way to make the most of a big and busy Artexpo New York!
