New Wave Art will be sponsoring five [SOLO] awards for independent artists at Artexpo New York 2012, starting next weekend at Pier 92! The winning artists will have their choice of seven beautiful New Wave Artist Palette designs. New Wave will also host an all-day “Painting Marathon” from 10 am-7 pm on Saturday, March 24 to show you just how comfortable these elegant palettes are.

New Wave Art‘s palettes are completely different from anything you have ever seen or held. Specifically designed with comfort in mind, they have a patent-pending 3-point design between the hand, forearm and torso/hip resting areas that reduces fatigue in the shoulder, arm, wrist and hand. This design evenly distributes the weight of the palette among three points. If you’ve ever felt achy after a long day in the studio, you’ll find these palettes are a godsend!

New Wave offers seven designs handcrafted with hard white maple by a Mennonite wood shop in Lancaster County, PA. The finished palettes boast an extremely durable furniture grade satin finish, and the unfinished palettes are prepped for personal finishing. Put simply: these are the most beautiful, durable and the most comfortable palettes available on the market. New Wave’s palettes been endorsed by nationally known artists such as Everett Raymond Kinstler, Chris Saper and others.

All-Day Painting Marathon: 10AM-7PM, Saturday, March 24

See these gorgeous palettes in action, and watch them go the distance! New Wave Art will host a full day figure-painting marathon with Neilson Carlin, founder of Studio Rilievo. The demonstration (with clothed model) will showcase techniques modeled after ateliers of 19th century France and will feature New Wave Artist Palettes.
