Dale Stephens

Director of Production

As Director of Production, Dale Stephens researches and manages photo-capturing, image reproduction and production efficiencies to deliver the highest print quality to artists.

Prior to joining the Artexpo team, Stephens served as Operations Manager of Beta Corporation and Manager of Land Services for FPL Energy (now NextEra), the nation’s largest wind energy developer. In addition to his operations management expertise, Stephens has over 25 years experience in the printing industry. He has worked as an independent graphic designer, a color separation photographer and was responsible for color control for MIU Press in Iowa and the large commercial printer, American Graphics in Atlanta. In these positions, Stephens handled everything from pre-press to final product color management.

Stephens attended Columbus College of Art and Design where he developed a passion for contemporary art. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in fine art and a Masters in philosophy. In his spare time, Stephens is writing a Ph.D. dissertation in primary education, and building a cabin in the Iowa woods.
