“Artexpo is such a grand opportunity for any artist. It is a gathering of Artists, Collectors, Galleries Owners, Publishers of Fine Art and Art lovers for interaction and business. It is a great way to network with leaders in the fine art business. When I discovered that most of the contemporary artists I admired the most had all displayed at the Artexpo at one point or another, I knew that displaying my works at the Artexpo would be a great career move.

I first exhibited at the Atlanta Artexpo in September 2005. Artexpo Atlanta gave me a new insight in the Art world. It happened to be one of my biggest shows for the year 2005. My works were sold out before the end of the show and numerous galleries and fine art publishers showed interest in my work. The success from the show encouraged me to register for the Artexpo New York 2006 as a SOLO Artist. Not long after registration, I started receiving calls and emails from various galleries and publishers. I was offered great deals from publishers who wanted to publish my work.

Getting to Artexpo New York, 80% of my works were sold before noon on the first day of the show. As a SOLO Artist, I arranged deals with some of the most prestigious galleries around the country that are now exhibiting my work. I find myself working longer hours in my studio to meet up with the increasing demands of my work by galleries. The price of my work has also increased due to higher demands. My life as an artist is going great and I enjoy it everyday.” –Ibe Onyeka
