Armenian artist Aghassi (Boghos Taslakian) was born in 1964. He began painting and sculpting at a very early age.
In 1981, Aghassi enrolled at the Art College of Armenia, and he continued his education at the “Academia di Belle Arti di Venezia” of Venice. He mostly creates marble and bronze sculptures and oil paintings. His experience in Venice, where he studied painting and sculpting, is present in his work most-ly through his characters and the enchantingly harmonious mixture of renaissance and contemporary. His Armenian heritage is reflected in his monumental pieces dedicated to the Armenian cause and prominent Armenians around the world.
Aghassi has participated in many international exhibitions; his paintings and sculptures are on display at several galleries and in private collections around the world.
