JG Lipka grew up around art. As a child he learned from notable artists Leo Russell and Donald Choate. His parents exposed him to Marc Chagall, and his uncle Marek was a notable collector of Chagall. His interest in art exploded with a gift of the board game, “Masterpiece”. Lipka had a long and remarkable career as one of the nations leading numismatists. Lipka as a youth created award winning advertisements for The Hunterdon County Democrat, and more recently, The Banknote Reporter. A divorce and associated devastating robberies convinced Lipka o turn his creations of fine art from hobby to profession. Lipka has exhibited at, and is a member of Artsbridge. His ambitious goals were earned by his successes at an equally competitive business, and are laid out in his mission statement, Mission Statement; Our mission at JG Lipka fine art is produce original stunning art of magnificent color, great beauty, and indelible images worthy of universal iconic appeal. We intend to reimagine American and World history through artistic expression, and also the genesis and original doctrines of love and truth from all the great faiths in human history. Our goal is to share visionary treasure with the general public via important museums & institutions throughout the entire world. We hope that expanding human consciousness through art leads to the end of all wars and ultimately unites all of mankind to save our planet through ecology, knowledge, understanding, and peace.
Petrified Forest was inspired by a lifetime passion for art history. Using several different techniques, Lipka was able to create an image combining great beauty and incredible contrast. A spectacular unique original treasure that must be seen live for full effect.
