Eva Vogt was born in Bratislava, in the former Czechoslovakia. Eva Vogt. She studied mathematics at the University of Bratislava and worked many years as a software developer. Form 1970 to 1975 she studied art with Prof. Josef Ilecka, Prof. Jan Zelibsky and Prof. Peter Matejka from the University of Fine Arts in Bratislava.
For Eva Vogt, art is passion, freedom at a higher level of existence. In the center of her artworks are human beings, their feelings, hopes, dreams or emotions. In her techniques she experiments with various materials like pigments, stains, inks, coal, shellac, oil, wall paint, various chalks, flour, sands, bitumen, wax, paraffin, rust, coffee grounds and others.
She is exhibiting her artworks in national and international galleries and art fairs.
