Born in Irvington and brought up here in Essex county, Lauder Bowden was graduated from Pratt Institute in New York. Currently he lives and works in New York.
His art employs a strong use of color, graphic abstraction, typography or calligraphy, and a sense of irony that questions our contemporary culture. His carrier has been a mix of Design and Art for over 40 years.
Art works are included in major corporate collections as well as numerous private collections. In 2010 he was a contributor to the Annual Fund Raising Auction for the Anderson Art Center in Snowmass CO.
