Miguel del Rey Vergara is a sculptor and figurative artist. Born and raised in Madrid, Spain. Miguel is a graduate from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts. He continued his studies in New York at the Art Student’s League.
His work is in numerous private collections and has been widely exhibited in New York. He’s been awarded the prestigious Ann & Bruno Luchesi grant, for his merits in the field of Figurative Sculpture.
He is currently represented by Kitano Alley gallery in Japan.
Miguel has been practicing and teaching art in New York since 2015. His artwork has been shown at international sculpture shows and competitions, among them, in USA, is the Outwin Boochever by the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery in Washington D.C.
