Tsiala Gigauri born on 07.22.1970 I am a master of traditional craft, cloisonne enamel Education Higher Master Degree.
This branch of art is used in both ecclesiastical and secular uses – jewelry, clothing accessories, furnishing, and more. Each of them is richly decorated with different ornaments. Most of the costumes of the mountain population of Georgia are Khevsurian clothes, which have seen the signs of the ancient attire of the Caucasian people. The creators of the garment sought to be practical, beautiful, reflecting their spirituality and the surrounding nature.
Khevsurian clothes reflect their genetic taste.
My love for this craft also comes from a family tradition. My grandmother taught me embroidery, knitting and sewing since childhood, my grandfather was a goldsmith in Khevsureti and I also try to faithfully serve and do this wonderful work.
