Artist Statement:
Artist’s Statement:

I am a contemporary, expressionist figurative award winning artist (Royal Academy of London, Hugh Casson Drawing Award, 2014) working in acrylics, ecoline and lately in digital.

I create large-scale painting portraits that are both vibrant and full of contrast inspired by observing different types of people thriving together. Human faces often work like triggers for me, launching the imagination and the process of producing art. Whether I paint the human body or portraits, It’s a combination of conflicting and complementary internal movements; excitement, anxiety, pleasure, vertigo, attraction, doubt and acceleration.

The fusion of color is, perhaps, the best attribute to characterize my paintings. Bright colors within the entire palette, high contrast, and seemingly chaotic mixture of multiple layers, which in the final result create the ultimate harmony of the human spirit.

Artist Technique:
Combining my drawings with my acrylic and watercolor textures.
One-edition only print mounted on a alucobond aluminum panel behind acrylic glass (plexiglass).

An image is optimized for an acrylic glass cover before printing. The print is cut to size and mounted on a Alucobond  panel. Alucobond is an aluminium composite panel resistant to bending. A hanging frame is attached to the back. The acrylic glass is fixed onto the print with a special adhesive. The result is vibrant and crystal clear artwork.
