Artist and Fine Arts Professor, New York Film Academy
Joan Pamboukes is a fine art photographer whose work explores the ways in which media and interactive technologies are woven into the human experience. She received her BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and her MFA from New Jersey City University. Her artwork has been exhibited at venues such as the Montclair Art Museum, Dumbo Arts Festival, Arts Council of Princeton, and the Paul Robeson Galleries at Rutgers University. Pamboukes has created site-specific installations for Summit Public Art and Brooklyn Bridge Park. She is a professor at New York Film Academy and New Jersey City University. She currently lives and works with her husband, Peter Lester, in Astoria, Queens.
